Q. What numismatic gradings do you use in the description for the item's condition?
A. The following table refers to the relevant gradings:
MINT Mint As issued condition, free from any blemishes.
EF Extremely Fine The most minor of handling marks. Virtually perfect.
NEF Nearly Extremely Fine The most minor of contact marks.
VF+ Good Very Fine A few surface marks, rim nicks and minor blemishes.
VF Very Fine Overall wear, polishing, contact marks.
NVF Nearly Very Fine Overall contact marks and wear.
F Fine Poor condition, polished, worn, substantial contact marks.

Q. What "add ons" are there?
A. None !
Q. If I buy more than one lot will the postage costs be combined ?
A. Yes. You will receive an automated successful lot notification immediately after each item sells.
Please wait for an invoice to be issued BEFORE MAKING PAYMENT. The invoice will reflect the correct postage charge.
Q. When should I make payment?
A. PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE. You will receive an email notification that an invoice has been raised. This will reflect the correct
postage charge relevant to your registered address. Payment can then be made immediately using the online secure payment gateway.
Q. Can I pay by Cheque ?
A. Yes, please make cheque payment payable to Neate Auctions.
Q. Will my personal details be revealed at any point?
A. At no time will personal information be revealed to any third party.
Q. Can I return an item if not entirely satisfied?
A. Yes, 7 days local, 14 days overseas. Conditions apply.
Q. How do I view sold items results ?
A. A full list of results can be viewed by typing "results" into the search bar, then clicking on the drop down screen on the advanced search feature.
Next to view results select 'closed auctions only'. You may view results for the last 3 months.
Q. How soon will I get paid?
A. Payments to vendors are made 21 days after close of sale. Advances are available under certain circumstances.
Q. Are consignments covered in the event of loss?
A. All lots are fully insured whilst in our possession.
